BUILD

"Little becomes much when we place it in the Master's hands," I remember these words from a song I learned as a young adult called Ordinary People. God uses those who desire to be used at any given time. Their innovative eyes, ears, and hands always consider future productive steps because God is on their side. Are you building on what you have already established? Are you increasing your creativity while appreciating what has already been attained? Hard work pays dividends, not only for your pockets but also for any purposeful cause. To build is not simply to secure the wood with nails; it is establishing roots that will last a lifetime and benefit future generations. Hebrews 3:4 says, "For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God" (ESV). Are you giving thanks as you take each step? Are you sharing your expertise or experiences with someone else? Are you tapping into what others have built to gain knowledge and wisdom of their success? God uses man's hands to do the work He has placed in his/her heart. He plants the ideas and gives us strength to achieve great results. It doesn't matter what you are building; build. The light at the end of the tunnel is not as crucial as the careful steps taken to get through the tunnel. God controls life, and there is time for improvement while you are still breathing. So, build with respect for life. Set small goals, choose an accountable partner, and take baby steps, and you will experience fruit worth sharing, living, and fulfilling! "The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new” — Socrates.
