THANKS!

"Thank" is a casual term used to express gratitude for all we have encountered. It may be people, places, things, or ideas. We may express it with various words of grace and sentimental expressions. We may personalize what we feel to another by saying, "Thank you." We may express gratitude and appreciation for the many opportunities presented to us. I am reminded of Psalm 107:1, which says, "Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever!" If you cannot find a reason to be grateful, be reminded that God's love endures forever! He understands you completely and meets you where you are. If you feel you cannot feel His love for you, ask Him to show you. He will undoubtedly reveal His presence in your life. Trust me, that is a promise! :-)

Remember six ways to give Thanks:

  1. Treasure what is near to your heart. It may be people, places, things, or ideas! God has placed these people or ideas in your heart because His love endures for you.

  2. Heartfelt: Never forget the sentimental aspects of life that you hold dearest to your heart. Who/what are you reflecting on that makes you tearful, thoughtful, and thankful?

  3. Appreciate the things of value, purpose, and fulfillment! Never forget your value in the presence of others. How you have and are making a difference. Continue to strive for the furtherance of faith and worship of the Lord.

  4. Nurture the weaknesses in your life. Do whatever it takes to build yourself up through learning new things that will benefit your life in the long run.

  5. Kindness: Just be kind to everyone! Take it on yourself to pay for someone's meal at a drive-through. Extend the grace to others that God has extended to you.

  6. Smile: Never forget to smile. You never know who will be blessed by a smile on your face. It really does help others believe that there are people who reflect God's love in a personable way.

If you need us, we are here for you,

Blessings upon Blessings!
