CONFIDENCE

Confidence is what one longs to have. It allows us to feel secure in our life’s purpose. It helps us to move past our comfort zone and be magnetic wherever we go. Confidence comes from our Creator. He designed us to live out the purpose He has placed in our hearts. The more we trust Him and His faithfulness, the more we gain the confidence to tread in unfamiliar territory. When we let go of our own control, we grow in our weaknesses and push beyond our fears. We appreciate who we are, how we are designed, and what we were made to do. As we inspire others, we gain inspiration to do more! Keep in mind, “Confidence is not based on you having all the resources needed to take care of yourself; confidence is based upon the truth that God is faithful (Ex. 14:14).”

Below are six steps to increase your confidence.
  1. Be Calm. When we are calm, cool, and collected, our mental juices flow, and we set the tone in each environment. Trusting the process in our journey allows us to stay on course and be at peace with any changes that may occur. For example, take deep breaths or pause before responding in stressful moments. So, be calm.
  2. Confide in another. There is nothing new under the sun, so you should trust someone who has walked in your shoes and can pray with you. Never fail to consult another in the process of your development. People are always willing to give advice and keep you accountable to fulfilling your goals. Sharing your struggles and victories can also strengthen your faith and trust in God’s plan. Be enriched by confiding in another.
  3. Have Courage. Courage allows us to take one step at a time, even when we cannot see what the future holds. Courage builds our confidence and faith that God can do what seems impossible. Be courageous even when it is difficult.
  4. Conserve your time and energy. Time is of the essence. You have one life to live, so why not come close to being exact while maintaining your energy? Why waste needed energy on unprofitable endeavors? Prioritize what is most important, and you will always win. Conserve what you have today, because you may need it for tomorrow.
  5. Contribute as much as you can. Work hard at each goal you have in mind. Each contribution you make adds up to a whole, so you will look back and be pleased with how far you have come. Contribute a little each day.
  6. Always Create. When God created the world, He was satisfied with every aspect of it. He said, “It is good!” The creations He places in your heart are not by accident. They are for His good pleasures, and yours, too! Take pride in each new idea that you have developed. It will add value to your life! So, go on creating.

I hope these life tips find you in a good place and are inspiring. If so, be confident in whatever you are doing, because you are right where you belong!
